From Facebook Friends to Forever
Caitlyn and Daniel’s love story began all the way back in 2013 with a simple Facebook connection. A few exchanged messages and a brief run-in at football training were all it amounted to—until the universe brought them back together during the first COVID lockdown in 2020.
When Caitlyn announced the temporary closure of her beauty business, Daniel reached out with a message of support. What followed were daily conversations, lockdown walks, and Netflix party dates that slowly turned into something more. On May 2nd, 2020, Daniel asked Caitlyn to be his girlfriend.
When the second lockdown hit, Daniel moved into Caitlyn’s family home—and never left. Fast forward to March 2023, he proposed during a picnic at their local botanic gardens, with help from his sister and nieces. Caitlyn had no idea a proposal setup was just metres away.
A year later, in April 2024, they welcomed their beautiful baby boy into the world. On their five-year anniversary, with their son by their side, they said “I do” surrounded by just 35 of their closest loved ones.

“The most special part of the day was having everyone we love in one room. It was intimate, warm and filled with so much love and support. Having our baby boy there with us made it all the more meaningful.”
The Dress
Caitlyn found ‘the one’ at the first boutique she visited: Luv Bridal.
After trying on several favourites that didn’t quite feel right, her stylist brought out a gown she hadn’t considered. The moment she slipped into it, everything changed.
“It was the only dress that made both my mum and sister cry. I instantly felt like myself in it.”

Caitlyn wore the Skylar Mini Earrings in 18k Gold by Lolaknight.
